Account & Access

Manage account identity, Console access, application switching, and invitations.

Account & Access explains how team members enter ASC Editor Plugin, switch between accessible spaces, accept Console invitations, and manage their account profile.

Account

An Account is the identity used to log in.

One email address maps to one Account. The Account can have access to one or more Platform Consoles, depending on invitations and permissions.

End Users are not Accounts. End Users stay in your own product and are mapped through API calls.

My Access

The My Access page shows all spaces the current Account can access.

It can include:

  • Current Platform Console
  • Other Platform Consoles where the Account has access
  • Workspace access from other AuroraSendCloud product areas, if available

Use My Access when a user belongs to multiple Consoles or needs to switch between product areas.

Current Console

When using ASC Editor Plugin, Current Console refers to the Platform Console you are currently managing.

From the current Console, you can manage:

  • Applications
  • Teammates
  • Console Settings

Application-level configuration is managed after opening an Application.

Application switching

Inside the Plugin workspace, use the Application switcher to move between Applications in the current Platform Console.

The switcher is used for:

  • Opening another Application.
  • Creating a new Application, if your role allows it.
  • Going back to the full Applications list.

Teammates only see Applications assigned to them.

Console invitations

When an Owner or Admin invites a teammate, the invited user receives a Console invitation.

The invite flow depends on whether the invited email already has an Account:

CaseFlow
Existing AccountThe user logs in with the invited email and accepts the Console invitation.
No Account yetThe user creates an Account with the invited email, then accepts the Console invitation.

After accepting the invitation, the user can access the Console based on the assigned role.

Account Settings

Account Settings manages personal profile information for the logged-in Account.

It may include:

  • Display name
  • Email address
  • Password settings
  • Basic profile details

Changing Account Settings affects the user's identity, not Application configuration.

Access model

Account
  -> Platform Console access
-> Role: Owner, Admin, or Teammate
      -> Application access

Owner and Admin users have access to all Applications in the Console.

Teammates can access only assigned Applications.
